We refer to the Company’s announcement made on 18 May 2021 on its 16th Annual General Meeting (“16th AGM”) scheduled for Wednesday, 30 June 2021 at 10.30 a.m.

In view of the implementation of Movement Control Order (“MCO”) in the State of Sarawak and the current COVID-19 situation, the Board of Directors of Rimbunan Sawit Berhad (“the Board”) wishes to announce that the 16th AGM will not be held on 30 June 2021.

The Company has applied and been granted by the Companies Commission of Malaysia an extension of time for up to 90 days to hold its 16th AGM and to lodge its financial statements for the financial year ended 31 December 2020 in accordance with Sections 340(4) and 259(2) of the Companies Act 2016 respectively.

The Board will continue to observe the relevant Standard Operating Procedures implemented by the authorities during the MCO period and determine the appropriate date to hold the 16th AGM of the Company, and will make the necessary announcement in due course.
