Rimbunan Sawit Berhad ("the Company") wishes to announce that the Company has on 23 May 2011 subscribed 1.02 million ordinary shares of RM1.00 each in the share capital of Burung Tiong Helicopter Sdn. Bhd. ("BTH") at a total consideration sum of RM1,020,000. Subsequent to the subscription of the said shares, BTH became a 85% owned subsidiary of the Company.

The Board, having considered all aspects of the acquisitions, were of the opinion that the above acquisition is in the best interest of the Company and not detrimental to the interests of the minority shareholders.
