Rimbunan Sawit Berhad (“RSB” or “the Company”) wishes to announce that Midas Plantation Sdn. Bhd. (“MPSB”) ( Company No. 671956-A), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company via Rimbunan Sawit Management Services Sdn. Bhd., had on 29 May 2016 wound-up voluntarily pursuant to Section 254(1)(b) of the Companies Act, 1965. Mr. Morris Hii Su Ong of Messrs. Hii & Lee (Secretarial Services) Sdn. Bhd. has been appointed as the Liquidator for the purpose of members’ voluntary winding-up of MPSB.

The voluntary winding-up of MPSB is not expected to have material effect on the share capital, net assets per share, gearing, earnings per share of RSB Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2016.

None of the Directors and/or major shareholders of RSB and/or persons connected with them have any interest, direct or indirect in the voluntary winding-up.
