(1) Recommendation of first and final dividend
The Board of Directors of Rimbunan Sawit Berhad has on 6 December 2006 recommended a first and final dividend of 3 sen per share, tax exempt, in respect of the financial year ended 31 August 2006, payable on 19 March 2007 to depositors whose names appear in the Record of Depositors on 21 February 2007.
The notice of dividend entitlement and payment shall be advertised at a later date.
(2) Proposed shareholders' ratification and shareholders' mandate for recurrent related party transactions of a revenue or trading nature
The Board of Directors of Rimbunan Sawit Berhad ("the Company") wishes to announce that the Board will be seeking shareholders' approval on the following proposals by way of ordinary resolutions at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting of the Company to be convened at a later date :-
(i) proposed shareholders' ratification for recurrent related party transactions of a revenue or trading nature; and
(ii) proposed shareholders' mandate for recurrent related party transactions of a revenue or trading nature.
A Circular to Shareholders in relation to the above proposals is currently being prepared for approval by Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
